This was my first field trip with a LINC school to visit the Royal Ontario Museum. I have landed in Toronto for two years, but I spent one year to have my baby daughter, She is my the first baby at the age of 40, She is a present from God, So I named her 'Joanne' that means 'The gift from God'. I have had no more time to go on a field trip since she was born. So this trip let me feel so excited, I even postponed my appointment with my specialist.
All of schoolmates gathered at the coffeeshop just above the subway platform in Don Mills Stations. Everybody felt so happy,we chatted with each other and struke up conversation with each other, I am a newcomer to this new LINC school, So I made more new friends.
We started our group trip on the subway, The laugh and smiling were on the way . We reached the ROM and took some group photos, You can see the posting on the teacher's blog, Everyone's faces broadened into smiles, We are happy big family.
We visited the ROM departments separately. We looked through the different parts of exhibition, It exhibits on the first people's ancient culture in the first floor, I really like the style of minority nationality, I even want to have a suit of national clothes.
There is the best favourite department for children on the second floor, It is on show about biodiversity. Children were fond of the specimens of animals, They were so excited at all places. The museum provided animals' puzzle game to kids, The guides explained the habits and characteristic of animals for kids. We also were influenced by the joyful atmosphere.
My favourite galleries are on the the third and forth floors, I really eager to fell into artistic sensuous feeling because I am art worker and teacher. I was intoxicated works of art from different countries, I got some idea of those sights,I seemed to come back into ancient ages.
How great this trip was!
